4 Actresses who could play Batgirl in the DCEU

By Matthew Nemeth

Following the recent news that Joss Whedon would be taking on Batgirl Film for DC’s DCEU I thought I’d put together a short list of who I’d like to see play the character. Please also see our why batgirl is perfect for CW’S Arrow

1. Yvonne Strahovski

After seeing Yvonne is in 24 Live Another Day i have liked the actress since, as i had also not seen her before (i am aware she has been in Dexter). I liked her specifically as an action actress and I feel she could be the right age, height and build for Batgirl

2. Emily Kinney

Similar in ways to Yvonne, And also has a tiny bit of experience with Superheroes as she was in the CW DC universe for a short time, also I feel like she could play a little more of the serious side of the Bat-Family

3. Cobie Smulders

Another actress with Superhero experience in Avengers And Agents Of Shield. Has shown that ability to deal with darker and sadder storylines in How I Met Your Mother, At least from situational, relationship and character prospectives.

4. Maggie Q

So perhaps she may be a tad tall but this could easily be dealt with. Another actress in the action sense of batgirl who has that experience and again as I mentioned with Cobie, Emily and Yvonne each of them have dealt with dark storylines.

So what do you think of my choices ? Do you think they are Terrible ? Pretty Good ? Or Something else ? let me know in the comments below and as always you can use the imformation below to get in contact or get involved. Thank You for reading
