Is there too much multiplayer in gaming now ?
Just look at the image above. There are a lot of multiplayer games now. Is there too many? I certainly think so. We have above at least 6 games that come to mind when it comes to multiplayer. There is also Titanfall, Evolve and GTA 5. 1st person shooter campaigns are dying. All of the above with maybe the exception of Halo 5 have little to no story. I have found it quite hard to choose just one of these multiplayer games so as a result I have picked 4 of them in GTA, Star Wars Battlefront, Halo 5 and Battlefield 4. I know 4 of these does seem a lot as a result again of too much multiplayer, so my efforts are spread across 4 games. We have still recently had games that have a good story and characters. But there is still, maybe, too much multiplayer.
