Mini Review: The Adventures Of Huck Finn

By Matt Yaxley

My opinion and review on Disney’s The Adventures Of Huck Finn (1993) little Spoiler: (about the beginning of the film): This film was actually quite good from a historical point of view. When I started to play the film I found that a young Elijah Wood was playing young Huck Finn and Robbie Coltrane played The Duke, two great actors.

This film packs a lot of adventure and action in one film. It’s more about journey and friendship and teaches you about what Slavery was like back in the day, the beginning of this film was quite shocking to me as it portrayed a violent drunken father trying to kill his son in a rather nasty way but apart from that this film was filled with really good unexpected adventure.

It probably had about 3 different stories along the way but it all rolled into one movie quite nicely. I really liked this film and never expected or knew how it would end.
