Me, Chris and David are back to review The Walking Dead 809 ‘Honor‘ on AMC and Fox. It’s a surprising good and incredibly sad episode that gives just good enough of a farewell to Chandler Riggs‘ Carl Grimes even though it shouldn’t be happening, but with excellent performances, pretty good action mixed in with some awkward/confusing flash forward/dream sequence scenes (I’m a comic reader and even i’m a tad confused) with some strong scenes with Carol and Morgan as well as some incredibly well done scenes with Rick, Michonne, Carl, Judith among other characters. AMC has taken an incredible risk with this move and i really hope this simply isn’t another method to “save money” otherwise it’s simply a massive waste of a major and important character, Henry and Judith have somewhat been hinted at as the future in this episode and that’s ok, as long as that is done well. I will really really miss Carl and wish Chandler the absolute best of luck in the future. R.I.P. Carl.
